This premium Pop Art poster print depicts the protective hurling helmet. You only have one head so you need to protect it playing hurling….accidents can happen and the helmet protects players against blows to the head, face and temple. Helmets come in many different colours and the colour a player picks when starting to play hurling from a young age is probably the colour they will use for their entire playing career. With this illustration, I wanted to depict this detail.
