This Pop Art design depicts the protective hurling helmet. Hurling is one Ireland’s national sports and indigenous to the country. The sport can be dangerous because it is a contact sport played at a very high speed. Accidents can happen therefore players wear protective helmets to protect against blows to the head and temple. There is also a metal ‘face guard’ attached to protect the players facial features.

The wood frame is available in black or white with dimensions 20-25mm thick and 10-14mm wide.
